It was supposed to be a 3 mile long run today, but I broke the rule and went 4.5. 

I did another walk/run with Kelly today and felt good after 3.5 so I decided to run another mile. It felt good. The only exception was that I didn't have my music on so I was listening to my labored/running breathing. I don't like that...I like music!

Our pace was pretty good for a walk/run, Kelly and I decided that I run faster but she walks faster. I noticed that my walking pace was much faster with her which is a good thing. I need to work on that and she helps me with it. 

Kelly wasn't feeling great to start with, but as the run went on her headache went away...a good thing for both of us....running did help! Stress reliever...who knew?

Well...8 weeks down so far and I still don't feel like I could do a 10K...let alone 13.1, but I am going to have to challenge myself here soon. Karen and I are signed up for a 10K in October. We shall see.
