Today was my best time yet...not that I am going for time but my pace was much better than usual.
A couple of factors...earlier today I went for a 2-mile walk with Karen A. It was a good pace and it warmed up my legs. I came home to do a few things and went out around noon. The air was cooler and humidity was lower.
I felt pretty good my first mile and didn't feel "heavy legs" when I completed my first mile and heard the time I was shocked. Continued along and was surprised that each mile was better...not even trying to improved, I actually thought I was slowing down in my 3rd mile.
I wanted to be sure to go 3 miles to check out my time. Successful day today!
