Getting addicted?

Let it be known that I still do not like to run...however, I am starting to notice the results of my efforts. I am starting to lose weight and my clothes are starting to fit better. So though I hate the actual running, I do enjoy the results. I have also found that when I miss a scheduled run I am anxious to get back to the routine of running. I don't want to take a step back. That happened this week...my schedule was thrown off.

I was able to get a walk/run in on Monday, but not a scheduled run in on Tuesday. On Wednesday, I went out for a run at 3:30 when the heat and humidity were high and I was only able to get 2.5 mile in before I stopped. Part of the reason for the stop was due to the fact I was running to the middle school to watch a baseball game, but even with that I would have had to stop and walk a bit if I were to go on further. I did get my 30 minutes in so that is what I am supposed to do...30 minutes not necessarily 3 miles.

I felt like I was slow, but my times were actually good for me.

The heat and humidity are supposed to break today so may my Friday run will be easier.
