After a rough start to last week's training I was determined to stay on track this week. So before my hectic day I made sure I got out and ran today. My 3 miles were in the books before I started with my other obligations. Yes, it felt good to get that in so I didn't have to worry about it the rest of the day. It took a little longer today due to a couple of welcomed interruptions. 1 1/2 miles in I took a phone call and then a little after the 2 mile mark I stopped and helped a couple with directions. So a few small breaks were nice today.
It was a brisk 31 degree day today and I dressed in layers...4 to be exact. For some reason I just thought I needed that outer fleece layer today. It wasn't windy so I would have been fine with the under layer and two long sleeved layers.
Went through the park today in the beginning of my run...1st mile so I took my headphones off and said my prayers through the park. It is very calming and yet inspirational at the same time.
I guess I forgot to document that I had a 4-mile walk run on Sunday with Kelly. Good thing we got out when we did in the morning...the temperature DROPPED shortly after we got back.
