A sad day ahead and I was feeling the stress by 8:00 a.m. so I thought I would go out early and get in my 3 miles. It does help with stress and clearing your head. I have to pick mom up by 10:45 to get to Grandma's funeral so I knew I needed to calm myself early.
I was able to get in 3 miles today and I saw 3 coins I had to stop and pick up...they say when you find a coin that a loved one is looking down on you.
It was nice this morning...31 degrees with no wind. I still can't get my breathing down. I think I was going too fast today. I had a good time but I need to remind myself that I will have 10 more miles and I need to slow down and regulate my breathing.
It's on days like this (and what is ahead in the day) that makes me thankful that I have a stress reliever in running. I guess running is getting the best of me...emotionally anyway, because I can't believe that I just said I was thankful for running!
