Whew...I was a little concerned after Monday's run that the 3 miles would be difficult again today. I ran earlier with overcast, cooler temps, but still humid. I have been so lucky that the temperatures have been mild this summer. It was a good run today, I felt good during and after.
I tweaked my routes yet again...and again, I liked it. Just a different first mile to try to get me to my cool down corner without going by the soccer field and back down Kingsbury. It worked perfectly. 3.0 miles right at the corner.
Once again, my second mile is my best...according to Nick that should be my slowest, but it seems to always be my strongest.
Almost finished with my 3rd mile I ran into the middle school XC team during their morning practice. Always fun to see others out.
I forgot to post Lesson #5 the other day, one of the reasons I ran a little later in the morning.
Lesson #5: make sure your phone is charged the night before. Otherwise your music and GPS Map my Run will not work. Luckily a quick zap in the morning made it through that days run.
