I am so glad I ran on Monday...yesterday I felt the jet lag and there would have been NO WAY I would have been able to get out and run. Even today, I am not feeling all that great but made myself get out there. Not sure if it is jet lag or just a little bug of some sort. I don't think jet lag leaves you feeling achy.
I am planning on running again on Friday, probably just a 30 min. easy run and then a long run on Sunday. I need to get back into the swing of things.
I could tell that my legs and knees did not hurt as much today as they did on Monday. I think it was from not walking on the stone and harder surfaces in Italy. Who knew that running on asphalt was so much "softer".
It was a gorgeous day for a run today...the weather is once again cooperating with me. I can only hope that it stays this way for a while. I guess I missed some colder nastier weather while I was on vacation.
